Hosting a handful of top-notch guests? It’s a strong way to start off the week — especially when the mood is celebratory. Gavin was pleased to be honored with a proclamation from the City of York, given November 7, 2016, to recognize its award as one of Central Penn Business Journal’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies in 2016.

The CPBJ award, given to companies that contribute to the regional economy, recognizes Gavin’s explosive growth since its launch in September 2011. Over five years, the company has grown from one person and bartered rent to a diverse team of 20 employees headquartered in downtown York.

York City Mayor C. Kim Bracey, State Representative Kevin Schreiber, and York County Commissioners Susan Byrnes, Doug Hoke and Chris Reilly attended a brief ceremony Monday as Mayor Bracey presented the proclamation to the Gavin team, noting Gavin as “a regional contributor to Central Pennsylvania’s economy” and “a shining example of a company that truly understands its mission and the impact that it can have on the surrounding community.”

“Some of the growth we’ve seen has been astounding, and we’re breaking milestones every year,” said Mandy Arnold, president. “We’re just so thrilled that York has been the place that’s been home for us, and we want to say thank you to the entire York community and all of the officials that have supported us in the process.”
